Kate Cheng Graduated from The Wedding Dress Design and Development program
at Shih Chien University Continuing Education Center in 2018.
鄭昱菁結業於實踐大學推廣部2018年105小時美式婚紗企劃設計班
2018, I took the Wedding Dress Development & Design course with Teacher Shiew- May at The Shih Chien University
Continuing Education Center. She brought her years of experiences & knowledge of American theme wedding & bridal
gown business to open my creative potential of lovely dream dress design for people. It was a very concrete and precise
concept which was a practical method training of wedding dress design process and bridal fashion show—it was a very
critical concept of training for a new bridal fashion designer.
2018年，我在實踐大學修習秀梅老師的婚紗設計與企劃課，老師以自身在美國主題婚紗業界的豐富
經驗，開啟我如何將乘載人們愛情綺麗幻想的嫁紗，以更清晰的思維落實在婚禮產業的呈現和操
作——那是從設計到實踐的重要思維培訓。
Two years later, 2020, luckily, I was invited to join the theme bridal show by her. It doesn’t
matter where she was; she gave me very concrete training one to one by Google Meet Face time
conference without anything missing from the process.
兩年後的2020年，有幸參與老師的美式婚紗主題展覽企劃。儘管老師人在美國，一對一紮
實的協助和提點卻沒有因為距離而有任何打折。
The 409 days preparation of the practical training and design process for the show 11.08.2020 let me find out
what my strength of design capability is and what my weakness is. Because of that opportunity, I started to set
up my concrete and clear goal for my future career. I thought that a good designer needs to build up an absolute
great foundation as any strong building would require. For those people who dream to be in the bridal industry,
Teacher Shiew- May’s programs which focus on both the foundation and design process is an absolutely full &
excellent practical training of bridal gown design.
兩年前觀念的培育在這409天的準備期裡具體實踐，在過程中更加領悟唯有真實操作，才能更清楚自己
的專長以及盲點，同時慢慢調整自身以求達到更進步明確的目標。我認為好的房子是需要穩固的地基的
建構；而對於夢想進入婚紗業界的人來說，秀梅老師課程裡通盤的觀念建構佐以實務操作，無疑是全面
而優質的底妝呀！
